University students` writing skills assessment

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show the assessment of writing skills in university students. The aim group were students of English philology 1st grade (1st and 2nd year of full-time and part-time), the research focusing on five major content areas: sentence making/syntax, comprehension, tenses/ grammar and handwriting. The study research was applied to make the comparison on the bases of gender and level of language accuracy and full-time and part-time students.
