Abstract

The article presents the test of immunity to electric surges of two surge arresters used in railway electronic systems. Metering methodology, laboratory stand according to PN-EN 61000-4-5 and expo-sure levels included in the railway standard PN-EN 50121-3-2 are presented. The article presents examples of research results and an evaluation of the obtained results according to the applicable regulations.
