The article discusses some aspects of the analysis of road accidents involving vehicles. An air track was used to simulate collisions of the bodies in a laboratory scale. The CoachLabII+ and Cobra3 measuring console were used together with the software and sensors for detection and analysis of the body impact pulse with a fixed obstacle. The usefulness of the Kelvin model for the analysis of the impact processes was demonstrated.
