Abstract

The aspects of examinations of tree- and four-wheeled vehicles in the scope of road safety and problems resulting from the improper infrastructure of control stands for tests of this type of vehicles have been presented in this paper. The results of tests of technical conditions of 80 vehicles including 35 vehicles that were permitted to move on public roads and the structure of faults affecting the road safety have been analysed. New solutions of equipping control stands which may facilitate the examinations of atypical vehicles have been proposed.
