The journal offers access to the contents in the open access system on the principles of non-exclusive license Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0).
PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
Since 2017 the journal is published half-yearly. In 2016 it was published on annual basis.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Articles submitted for possible publication are subjected to a double-blind, peer review process which is consistent with the recommendations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland and includes the two steps:
The formal, technical and merits assessment of submitted scientific articles by the editorial board.
Article evaluation prepared by two independent, external reviewers, experts in the given academic field. The reviewers are not affiliated with the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management Nicolaus Copernicus University and with the research center represented by the author.
SUBMISSION FEE
There are no submission or publication fees.
COPYRIGHT POLICY
Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a copyright transfer agreement that specifies detailed descriptions of the copyright transfer. The agreement is available in downloads. Acceptance of the consent to the transfer of copyrights ensures the widest possible distribution of information contained in the article.
RE-PUBLICATION
The authors can decide about eventual re-publication of their article. In case of re-publication no changes and modifications can be made, moreover an appropriate reference of the original publication is requested.
PLAGIARISM
By submitting the manuscript the authors declare that the text is their original work, does not contain any plagiarism and has not been published in or submitted to any other journal. The editor scans all submitted papers in order to detect plagiarism. If plagiarism is found, a whole article will be removed from the journal and replaced with a note indicating authors´ names and description of plagiarism. Authors and their institutions will be notified.
SIMILARITY CHECK
The journal content is indexed in Similarity Check, the CrossRef initiative to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism.
RETRACTION POLICY
The editorial board of Catallaxy journal is committed to uphold the integrity of the literature and publishes editorially significant correction dependent on the situation. In all cases, the original articles will be removed and replaced with a note stating the reason of retraction and with corrected version. Since the journal was created, no changes have been made to the published content.
DIGITAL PRESERVATION
The journal is digitally preserved by the Economic Publishing Platform since 2016. All printed issues of journal are preserved by the National Library of Poland.
PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT
The editorial board of the Catallaxy journal implements the best standards of publication ethics and take all possible measures against publication malpractices. The Catallaxy journal has adopted and applies the principles of publication ethics in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process (editors, author, reviewer and publisher) should become familiar with the standards of ethical behavior used in the Catallaxy journal.

Publisher's confirmation
In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication or plagiarism the publisher, in close collaboration with the editors, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the article in question. This includes the prompt publication of an erratum or, in the most severe cases, the complete retraction of the affected work.
